Dogs generally require three visits per day because of their need for bathroom breaks.  It would be
unrealistic to ask your dogs to go more than 8 or 9 hours without relieving themselves.  However,
if you have a dog door or if your dog stays outside, you could get by with one visit per day for
food, water, and socialization.  It depends on your dog, house, and other personal needs and
preferences for care.

For up to three dogs of ordinary size and needs, I don’t charge any more than my basic rates.
However, rates can increase due to greater driving distances, special needs, services and other
situations that must be addressed individually.  For a schedule of basic fees, please click on the
“Services” link of my web page.

In addition to basic needs, most dogs like and require kindness, petting, attention and exercise each
day.  That is why, in addition to feeding, cleaning up after bathroom breaks, and other chores that
are required, I try to incorporate a walk, playing with ball or Frisbee or other fun time activity
during at least one of my visits during the day.  This is for dogs that are healthy and otherwise
capable of exercise.  Please advise me of any medical restrictions placed on your dog.

Please call or email with any dog care related questions you may have that are not addressed here.

NOTE:  Some pets have  separation
anxiety or need constant monitoring for
other reasons (health, high socialization
requirements, destructive or aggressive
behavior) that would make them a poor
candidate for pet sitting.  Most "normal",
well-adjusted pets enjoy being at home
under pet sitting conditions.
